Community Guidelines
Principles for keeping PaceMatch empowering, respectful, and safe for every athlete.
1. Honest Athletic Metrics
Post your real running pace, weekly mileage, and fitness experience. Accurate pace matching ensures both partners enjoy safe, comfortable runs without injury or pacing mismatches.
2. Mutual Respect & Zero Tolerance Harassment
Respect personal boundaries both in chat and in person. Unsolicited explicit imagery, persistent unwanted messages, hate speech, body shaming, and discriminatory remarks result in immediate and permanent account expulsion.
3. Real Profile Photos Only
PaceMatch requires genuine, clear photos of your face. Landscape-only, group photos where you cannot be identified, celebrity pictures, or AI-generated avatars are not allowed.
4. Running Meetup Best Practices
Always plan first runs in public, open parks or trails during daylight hours. Carry your phone, tell a friend about your training route, and stay attuned to your personal comfort level.
